Jocelyn Bain Hogg - The Family
a portrayal of today's British criminal underworld, centered around the South London based Pyle family ("The Sopranos of Mitcham").

"Villains like to look like naughty boys, so the uglier and the harder they look, the happier they are,"--so says Jocelyn Bain Hogg, an English photographer who is debuting a new series of underworld photography called The Family. It is the sequel to his seminal series The Firm, a four-year photo documentary of the British organized crime world that gained instant recognition as an accurate depiciton of "the real thing."
Now that many of The Firm's capos have passed away, The Family chronicles the new, younger generation of British gangster, who has to contend with the growing dominance of Albanian and Russian organizations in London.
