Russian-born Andrei Laskatelev is a professional TV journalist. After graduating from Moscow State University he started his career as a screenwriter, director and producer of TV-documentaries, studying the life of the smallest ethnic population of arctic nomads in Polar Siberia. Later he worked for the Russian State Broadcasting Company as a reporter and a TV host. In USA he continued his journalist career at RTVi and local Russian Radio stations in Brooklyn. Recently he is actively involved in writing for Russian and American internet sources.
